The Future
Following
the dramatic changes that have occurred in the structure of the
UK Dairy Industry, the above examples demonstrate the essential
need for the UK Dairy Industry to have an input into, and influence
on, the work of the IDF. This enables producers, processors and
all persons connected with scientific, technical and educational
matters to continue to be aware of practices in other countries
and have access to the reservoir of data on dairying that is available.
This can only be achieved if the UK maintains a National Committee
so it is imperative that the work of UK-IDF is supported by all
areas of the UK Dairy Industry in order that the benefits of IDF
membership can continue to be reaped in the future.
