Management Board

UK-IDF is governed by a Management Board, which is comprised of a maximum of 6 people nominated by Dairy UK, a maximum of 6 nominated by AHDB Dairy and 1 member to represent Supporting Organisations.

It is responsible for the direction and financial control of the organisation, as well as detailed consideration of technical matters. It is their responsibility to provide the UK representatives for the IDF Standing Committees and Task Forces, who are selected on the basis of their technical expertise in a particular area. These bodies cover all the areas into which the work of the IDF is divided, and cover all aspects of the dairy industry ranging from production through to marketing and includes environment, technology, legislation, analytical standards, science and education.
